Other Partners
As well as working with Sector Skills Councils, the Manufacturing Diploma Development Partnership willl also be working with higher education, schools, colleges, employers and awarding body representatives to specify the content and structure of the diploma.
The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) has been providing advice on the overarching design of the diploma and will be responsible for accrediting the diploma prior to it becoming available to schools, colleges and other providers.

The Sector Skills Development Agency (SSDA) is also taking a lead role in the development of Diplomas. The SSDA underpins the network of Sector Skills Councils and is responsible for funding, supporting and monitoring SSC work.
