Case studies

The Diploma in Manufacturing and Product Design (MPD) offers young people many interesting experiences and the chance to learn in a variety of new and different ways. Diploma students are now starting to bring their learning to life through working on projects, completing work experience and visiting manufacturing companies.

There will soon be many exciting stories showing how students are learning about the world of manufacturing and product design. A variety of case studies about young people’s learning experiences will soon be available here.

These case studies will look at student projects and learning in the workplace, as well as plans young people might have to go on to the world of work or further studying.

It is the chance to learn in the workplace and meet employers which makes the Diploma in MPD different to other qualifications and the case studies below show how employers are providing support and helping to bring learning to life:
