What makes the Diploma different?

The Diploma in Manufacturing and Product Design will allow you to:

• Find out more about manufacturing, and the breadth of careers available within manufacturing – providing you with more informed choices about your future career, the kind of work, training or further study you wish to pursue.

• Explore the role of manufacturing in greater detail.

• Experience different styles of learning and different learning settings.

• Gain a qualification, developed by employers and education, equipping you with the skills you need to get ahead.

• Develop skills, knowledge and experience valued by employers, universities., including communication, team working skills, maths and IT skills.

• Demonstrate an interest in a sector of industry, giving you the head start when applying for a job, apprenticeship or university.
